About

It all started out as a hobby, where we rented one single shelf as consignors from the prior owners. It wasn't long before pastime became a passion.

In May, 2006 we purchased Trinkets & Treasures and spent two years operating in downtown Rochester. In 2008 we relocated to our current Milton Rd location and later in 2012, we purchased the building here and expanded our offerings. 

​

For us, the business is about – well ok, it’s about making a living – but it’s also about sharing a common interest as partners in life and in our work.

​

It's also about community. As estate buyers, the nature of what we do places us in the homes and lives of people at all different stages. We respect the trust our clients place in us and as a result, we have made many great acquaintances and friends along the way.

In the shop, we are fortunate to have a steady stream of regular customers and to make new ones every day. We take pleasure in assisting a young bride in selecting pieces for a vintage theme wedding. We smile in quiet observation of a mom and teenage daughter finding common ground in their shared admiration for a vintage handbag. And we feel satisfaction when we are able to locate an antique radio for a local elder who feels “they just don’t make em’ like they used to.”
